Our Staff

All of our staff are trained on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) oversees all programs.

Shantell Lewis, M.S., BCBA is the Center Director of Shaping Tomorrow Child Care Services. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global University. Shantell also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology, Audiology, and Communication Science from Brooklyn College.

Shantell has dedicated her time to working with children with and without special needs. For about 5 years, Shantell has worked at our sister company as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), then Program Coordinator, and Behavior Analyst. Shantell comes to us with a wealth of knowledge related to Applied Behavior Analysis.

Nicole Sogomonian is the current Lead Group Supervisor at Shaping Tomorrow Child Care Services and is currently training to be our Center Director.  Nicole is currently studying for her bachelors in psychology with a concentration in behavior analysis and plans to become an Assistant Behavior Analyst.

Nicole began her career in behavior analysis working as a teacher's assistant in a school for neurodivergent children. Nicole has over 10 years experience working in community habilitation, and in-home aba therapy.

Vanessa Bethea-Miller is the founder of Shaping Tomorrow Child Care Services. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS). Vanessa is pursuing her doctorate of philosophy in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and currently holds a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology with a concentration in ABA from Rider University. She also owns Bethea-Miller Behavioral Consulting, an agency that provides various behavior analytic services. 

Vanessa has dedicated her time to working with neurodivergent children from 2 years old and up. She is passionate about providing quality and effective ABA services to this population. She is also passionate about using the principles of ABA in educating all children.

 

In the past, Vanessa has worked as a Director of Behavior Support Services for an adult residential facility and their day programs as well as a Behavior Analyst consultant in the homes of youth and adults.  She teaches various courses in Applied Behavior Analysis at the college level and has presented at conferences across the world.
