"There needs to be a lot more emphasis on what a child can do instead of what he cannot do" – Temple Grandin
Child Care Services

We provide child care for children ages 1 to 5 years old in our center from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children are able to attend either part-time or full-time depending on your family's needs.

All children receive daily lessons in the areas of:

  • Reading, writing, and spelling;

  • Math and science;

  • Social skills and peer interaction;

  • Appropriate play skills;

  • Following classroom routines;

  • Arts & crafts; and

  • Functional living skills such as washing hands, cleaning up after themselves, etc.

  • Children will also participate in activities that address multi-sensory needs.

For our younger children under the age of 4 most of these lessons are taught via play and Natural Environment Teaching (NET). Natural Environment Teaching consists of teaching the skills in the natural environment so that children are able to better generalize what they learn during direct teaching or more structured instruction. All lessons are taught using evidenced based practices and data collection occurs to measure progress.

Children between the ages of 4 and 5 years old are placed in our Pre-K program which is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes more intensive teaching to prepare children for Kindergarten.

All-Inclusive Setting

Shaping Tomorrow Child Care Services accepts all children regardless of any diagnosis or behavioral needs. We provide an all-inclusive setting that allows for children with special needs to participate in the least restrictive environment along side typically developing peers.

If needed, all children will have access to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for individualized one-to-one instruction and support for behavioral concerns overseen and directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
